How to use Socially





🪄 Step 1: Your Social Media Board


The foundation of Socially is your Social Media board.


  • If you don’t have one yet: Use the ready-made template included with the app to create a new calendar board.
  • If you already have one: Simply integrate the app with your existing social media board.


👉 Either way, this board will serve as your starting point for planning and scheduling content.


Your board should include two essential columns:


  1. Social Media Accounts — where you select the account(s) to publish content to.
  2. Social Media Content — where you upload your post, video, or reel.


If you don’t see these columns:

  1. Click the âž• icon to add a new column.
  2. Search for Social columns and add the relevant ones.




đź”— Step 2: Select Your Social Media Accounts




Once the Social Media Accounts column is visible:


  1. Click the dropdown inside a cell to see your connected accounts.
  2. Choose the account you want to post to.
  3. If you don’t see your account listed, click the ➕ button inside the cell to connect a new account.

You can connect multiple social media accounts — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.


📸 Step 4: Upload Your Content




Now it’s time to add your post!


  1. Click inside the Social Media Content cell.
  2. An upload interface will appear — select a post, story, or reel.
  3. Add a caption or description if you’d like.

đź§  Tip:

If your content isn’t compatible with the platform (e.g., wrong image size for Instagram), you’ll receive a notification before saving.

Once saved, you’ll see a small content chip in the cell — confirming your post is ready to be published.



⚙️ Step 5: Automate Your Posting




To put your posting on autopilot:


  1. Click Integrate at the top of your board.
  2. Find "Socially" integration
  3. Choose an automation such as:
    • “When status changes, upload story to Instagram.”
    • “When date arrives, post social media content to account.”

Set your desired triggers, and you’re done!


🎉 Your social media calendar is now fully automated.


By now, you should have:

  • A content calendar board
  • Connected social media accounts
  • Uploaded posts, videos, or reels
  • Added automations to publish content automatically
